Just a bit above a threshold workout.VO2 Max workouts dont have to always feel like a lung-busting sprint especially in the beginning. Towards the end of the training block they should be pretty hard.These VO2 Max workouts are good for busy riders who dont have much time to train. Each VO2 Max session uses every minute efficiently to help you get the most out of your training and nail each VO2 Max interval to the best of your ability.VO2 Max intervals are good for indoor or outdoor training but indoor has an advantage because the efforts are short in duration and require complete focus. ERG mode is a huge help indoors as it helps take your mind off of the numbers and focus on just the pedaling.
