OZe Melbourne Crit Series - Race 5

Round 5 - Eastern Gardens | Geelong Cycling Club Round 5 heads to Eastern Gardens, hosted by Geelong Cycling Club, for what promises to be one of the most demanding races of the series. Set against the backdrop of Corio Bay, this iconic circuit combines fast sweeping roads with the relentless climb of Garden Street, steadily wearing down the field lap after lap. With 10 laps of the 2.87 km course on the program, riders will need to balance patience and aggression as the repeated ascent creates opportunities for attacks and rewards those with strong climbing legs. Drawing one of the largest fields of the series, the wide roads and challenging terrain create a spectacular contest where positioning, endurance and tactical awareness are critical. As one of Victoria's premier racing venues and a regular feature of elite-level competition, Eastern Gardens is a course capable of reshaping the series standings before the final round.
