This is a condensed Zone 2 session designed for the trainer. While its primary goal is to build aerobic endurance, the variety of intensities and cadences make it more engaging than a typical Zone 2 ride.

Although there are brief Zone 3 Tempo efforts, they are short enough to keep your heart rate mostly within Zone 2. The varied cadences help you improve pedal stroke efficiency and get out of your comfort zone. Remember, this session isn’t meant to be hard—it’s a balanced workout that stimulates without high fatigue (low TSS).
