Summer camp #2 - The Power Sandwich: Tempo & Threshold

This session is designed to build strength and endurance by pushing your limits under fatigue. It starts with a tempo block to pre-fatigue the legs before hitting an intense over/under threshold section, where you’ll alternate just above and below threshold.

This forces your body to clear and tolerate lactate more efficiently, improving your ability to sustain hard efforts. The final tempo block on tired legs simulates the demands of long rides, training your body to maintain power even when fatigued. With short recoveries between each block, this session is a true test of resilience and pacing.
