This ride can be done easily outside or inside on the trainer.
Warm un 10-15 min. As part of your warm up do 5 x 1 min High Cadence (110+ rpm) with 1 min regular cadence in between.
Then do 6 x 2 min Z5/6 (105-120%) with equal 2 min recovery between intervals
In between sets recover first, then try and stay pretty well in Z2-3 HR/PWR
